There's a short thread over at MeFi talking about beers with unusual names. They've already hit some of my faves - Theakston's Old Peculier, Delirium Tremens, La Fin du Monde - but they missed Maudite ("the damned one") and most of the New Belgium Brewing Company's beers. And they're not even discussing wines with weird names, most of which are usually zinfandels. Or at least Californian. Cardinal Zin, Captain Zin, the Seven Deadly Zins, Chateau La Paws Cote du Bone Roan... Try the Bonny Doon Vineyard for a couple of other wines with weird names.
