metrorail, pt. 3
Yeesh, I should at least post these pictures, even if I don't bother writing about them. Anyway, MetroRail is going to be nice. Ride it. One dolla, one dolla, one dolla, getcha alla da way downtown...

This was a picture I snapped as the train pulled into the station. I'm amazed it turned out as well as it did.

I submitted this picture of the opening doors to The Mirror Project.

I got inside and went to one end and snapped this photo of the length of the car. It's a little narrower than an El train (I think I'm the only Chicagoan ever to spell El as a shortening of "elevated train" instead of L) but the seats are nice, lots of poles to hang on to, etc. They said that capacity of the car is 200, with 72 seats, four of which are foldable to make room for wheelchairs.

The other conductor (I think his name was Mr. Terry) was kind enough to answer some questions for me, and he posed for this photo in the cockpit at the other end of the train.
