• Hydroponic Sound System, grids/loops/intersections, on Alternate Take Records. Dope ass beats coming from Texas (Dallas) with MCs from all over, including Bavu Blakes, Azeem, Headkrack, the Burn Unit and more...
• Haley Bonar, The Size of Planets, on Chairkicker's Union. This young singer-songwriter is on Low's label. She will be the next indie phenom.
• Lyrics Born, later that day..., on Quannum Projects. Lyrics Born is one of the dopest MCs around, and this is one of the strongest albums to be released in 2003.
