Kind of Bloop

This is the best $5 I've spent on music this year. It's a chiptunes tribute to Miles Davis' "Kind Of Blue". There is some legitimate jazz improvisation going on here, with several homages to the themes of various 8-bit video games from my past. Get it.

  2. So what do you think of the tracks? I think my favorite is "All Blues" by Shnabubula; the last 3 minutes in particular display a good sense of humor and exemplary sense of improv by working in several video game themes while maintaining the chord structure of the tune. I'm certain I detected Super Mario Bros. and Zelda themes and there are a couple of other familiar passages that are escaping my identification.
