Leigh was the original junglist for red envelope. I originally met her a few years ago at KTRU because she had the shift after my show. I found out that she was a jungle DJ and then one day I told her, "You should make me some tapes." She laughed. I told her I'd bring her some tapes. She laughed harder. I asked why, and she said she didn't believe me. The next week, I dropped a sack of tapes in front of her. She finally delivered the last one a few months ago. I still have not seen her dance, though.
Anyway, she's extra bad-ass, and really cute to boot. There are few junglists in Houston to rival her; while some may have more skills, none know how to work a crowd like she does. I've almost passed out from dancing to her sets. Now she's in NYC, and I'm sure she'll be rockin' it there soon...
