When the guy didn't take the money, the lead singer just shook his head and said, 'What, he didn't take the money? Pride: that's why you people will always be poor.'"

The Squishees are Houston's best prog-punk band named after the Simpsons. I know there aren't a lot of those in Houston, but seriously, the Squishees are so good. They are SO good. You don't even know.

US (in Danny's quote) refers to The Jonx. They are also a very good band, at least in my opinion. I think the title of their album is too long (I can never remember more than "The Return of the.."), but other than that you should check it out.
