Mix Master Mike w/ DJ Swamp

@ Pink Monkey

Mix Master Mike and DJ Swamp are two of the best turntablists in the world. Mix Master Mike, along side Q-Bert, was one of the DJs unofficially asked to retire from competition due to their utter domination on the decks. He was one of the founding members of the Invisbl Skratch Piklz, and is now affiliated with the Beastie Boys.

DJ Swamp is somewhat more well known for his stage presence than his cutting, but that's only because he's been known to do such wild things as smash his records, smash a cd turntable, cut himself with broken records, set fire to things, and in general, be wild. He is no slouch when it comes to turntablism; he toured as Beck's DJ for four years and has struck out on a solo career. He became intrigued with the doubletime speeds and is well known in the drum'n'bass scene.

This is all going down at some venue I've never heard of downtown that will probably be gone in four months, the Pink Monkey (709 Franklin).
