The Orb have been soothing crashing ravers for over a decade and a half now with their mix of tape loops, electronic beats, and live instrumentation on occasion. Hell, I think KTRU has something like nine or ten different remixes of one song, "Little Fluffy Clouds." I'm not clear if this is a live PA by Alex Patterson, a DJ set, or a live performance featuring a whole band. Actually, I'm not entirely sure I can listen to the Orb without coming down off of heavy doses of ecstasy, but it might be interesting to try...
