This should be a really good underground hip-hop show; People Under The Stairs are a well-respected west-coast outfit with a throwback party-rocking style that seems to be making a comeback. Lots of uptempo beats with snappy drums and catchy but simple bass lines - perfect for b-boys and b-girls to bodyrock. They have a brand new album out on Basement records; haven't gotten a chance to hear it yet but the first single, "Tuxedo Rap," is good.

Time Machine are an east-coast outfit with a slightly jazzier vibe, a little more reminiscent of early ATCQ, or some of the stuff now coming out of the BBE and Soulspazm camps. I've been rocking their tracks steady on my radio show for a few years now.
