There was a really short lived series on CBS this year called "Love Monkey." It was about a record exec for a major label who loses his job and ends up at a small label. Teddy Geiger played his new "find," the act that was going to help him help the indie label, and spite the major that fired him. The series got cancelled after about three episodes, but during that time they showed enough of Teddy that you could tell he could both play the guitar and sing. Now I have no idea whether his songwriting is good enough to stand up on its own without the resources of a TV show behind him, but it's clear that the kid has some raw talent. Keep your eye on this one.
