Boot Camp Clik is one of those underground hip-hop super-groups that has been around forever and yet never gotten much notice. Buckshot is practically legendary, having started out as a member of Black Moon and also having been part of the short-lived Crooklyn Dodgers whose track "Crooklyn" (the title track to Spike Lee's movie of the same name) is still heat today. Smif-N-Wessun were, for a short time, known as the Cocoa Brovaz due to a lawsuit from the gun manufacturer. Apparently they're back to using the more thuggish moniker.

Anyway, they've got a new album out (3rd or 4th, depending on how you count "best of" albums). This whole thing is part of the monthly party hosted by local b-boy BBC called the Bench.
