The Starbucks Mixed Media Music Series kicks off the 2007 season with another event. Lots of locals - Vic Vegas and Mr. Bristle (both formerly of the Plastic Division crew here in Houston) produced some nice house tracks a few years back, with a release on AV8. They are currently both performing with some regularity at the long-running monthly, Rent. Yppah (also local) has at least one release on Ninja Tune, and is/was a member of the Truth turntablist crew. And of course, Cee Plus is one of Houston's most well-recognized DJs and the musical programmer of the MFAH events.
