De La Soul should really need no introduction. One of the pioneering hip-hop groups of the Native Tongues movement, De La Soul have had a strong influence on the direction and shape of hip-hop and rap over the last 15 years or so. While none of their recent releases have had either the critical or commercial success that their early works had, the new music is still some of the best hip-hop being released.
