The Meridian is one of the newest venues in Houston, and is one of the rare mid-size venues in town. It has two areas - the entry area is a room approximately the size of the room over at Mary Jane's; and the main room is slightly larger than the Engine Room. Both rooms have bar areas. The entry room has some booths set off to one side and to the back, as well as pool tables and a couple of arcade games. The main room has tables set off to the back near the sound booth and a raised main stage.
